Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy

This Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy applies to all purchases made through Garden Furniture Company (GFC), a trading name of Inspirations Wholesale Limited (“we”, “our”, “us”).

By placing an order through our website, you agree to the terms outlined below.


1. Your Right to Cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, consumers in the UK generally have the right to cancel eligible online purchases within 14 calendar days of receiving their goods.

In addition to your statutory rights, we may allow returns of eligible products for up to 30 days from delivery, subject to the conditions below.

To request a cancellation or return, you must notify us in writing within the applicable period.

2. Return Eligibility

To qualify for a return, goods must:

  • Be unused and in resalable condition
  • Be unassembled and uninstalled
  • Be complete with all original parts, fixings, manuals, accessories, and packaging
  • Show no signs of wear, use, damage, modification, or weather exposure
  • Be suitable for resale as new

We reserve the right to reject returns or apply deductions where goods are not returned in acceptable condition.


3. Pallet Deliveries & Delivery Responsibility

Most of our furniture is delivered via palletised kerbside delivery services.

By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept that:

  • Delivery is to the nearest safe roadside or kerbside access point only
  • Drivers are not insured or obligated to move goods into homes, gardens, garages, or other premises
  • Customers are responsible for moving goods safely from the delivery point

It is your responsibility to ensure:

  • Adequate access for delivery vehicles
  • Sufficient assistance is available if heavy lifting is required

Failed deliveries caused by restricted access, customer absence, refusal of delivery, or incorrect address information may result in additional delivery, storage, or redelivery charges.


4. Inspection Upon Delivery

All goods must be inspected immediately upon delivery.

Any visible damage, shortages, incorrect items, or delivery concerns must be reported to us within 48 hours of delivery.

Please provide:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photographs of the packaging
  • Clear photographs of the product
  • A written explanation of the issue

Failure to notify us within this period may affect our ability to recover costs from our delivery partners and may impact your claim.


5. Return Shipping Costs

Unless goods are:

  • Faulty
  • Damaged in transit
  • Incorrectly supplied

Customers are responsible for all return transportation costs.

Due to the size and weight of furniture products, return shipping costs may be substantial.

Original delivery charges are non-refundable unless required by law.


6. Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Custom-made or made-to-order products
  • Special order items
  • Clearance, discounted, ex-display, or sale items
  • Assembled or partially assembled furniture
  • Products exposed to outdoor conditions after delivery
  • Products altered, modified, or repaired by third parties
  • Gift cards or digital products

This does not affect your statutory rights regarding faulty goods.


7. Faulty Goods

If your product develops a genuine manufacturing fault, your rights are protected under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

We may request:

  • Photographs
  • Videos
  • Inspection reports
  • Additional product information

Before authorising repair, replacement, collection, or refund.


8. Refund Processing

Once returned goods have been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

Approved refunds will be processed back to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Bank processing times may vary.


9. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Customers agree to contact us directly to allow us a reasonable opportunity to resolve any issue before initiating payment disputes, card chargebacks, or third-party claims.

Fraudulent or unjustified chargebacks may be actively disputed with supporting evidence, including delivery records, tracking data, photographs, customer communications, and courier documentation.
