Shipping & Delivery Policy
At Garden Furniture Company (GFC), we specialise in premium outdoor furniture and larger home and garden products. Due to the size and weight of many of our items, most orders are delivered via pallet delivery services.
Delivery Area
We currently deliver to addresses within the mainland United Kingdom only.
At this time, we do not deliver internationally.
Delivery Method
The majority of our furniture orders are delivered using professional pallet distribution networks.
This is typically a kerbside / roadside delivery service.
This means:
- Delivery is made to the nearest safe and accessible roadside point outside your property.
- Drivers are not insured or obligated to carry goods into your home, garden, garage, or premises.
- Customers are responsible for moving goods from the delivery point into their property.
Please ensure suitable help is available on the day of delivery if required.
Access Requirements
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure:
- The delivery address is accessible for large commercial delivery vehicles.
- There are no access restrictions, height restrictions, narrow roads, or other obstacles that may prevent delivery.
If delivery fails due to access issues or incorrect delivery information, additional delivery or redelivery charges may apply.
Delivery Times
Estimated delivery times are provided on each product listing.
Typical delivery times are between 3–14 working days, depending on stock availability, location, and delivery partner scheduling.
Inspection Upon Delivery
Customers must inspect goods upon delivery before signing where possible.
Any visible damage, shortages, or delivery concerns must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
Please email:
support@gardenfurniturecompany.co.uk
and include:
- Your order number
- Photographs of the goods
- Photographs of packaging or pallet condition
- A description of the issue
Failed Deliveries
If delivery cannot be completed due to:
- Customer unavailable
- Access restrictions
- Incorrect delivery information
- Refusal to accept delivery
Any additional storage, return, or redelivery costs may be passed on to the customer.
Delays Outside Our Control
While we aim to deliver within stated timeframes, delays may occasionally occur due to circumstances beyond our control, including courier delays, weather disruption, or national transport issues.
